Trump's Granddaughter Gets Professional Guidance from Golf Legend Woods Prior to LPGA First Appearance

Emerging athlete getting ready for major competition

The rising star maintains substantial online presence

Kai Trump can count on multiple high-profile supporters when she starts her first LPGA appearance later this week.

The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be connected to a former US president, was granted a sponsor's invitation to compete at the Annika competition in Florida.

The former president, someone who loves golf, possesses multiple international courses and often competes against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we play competitive games," she mentioned.

Kai explained that her grandfather, unable to come, advised her: "Simply don't get nervous."

"My grandpa basically advised me to compete and relax," she added.

"To me, he's simply a normal grandpa. He's not attending this weekend. He's occupied with running the country, so he's rather occupied."

While still amateur, Kai has participated in a mere three competitions in 2024 and holds the 461st position in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

However she's able to receive tips from golf legend, in a relationship with her mother.

"He represents the top athlete in the world," Kai expressed.

"And he's a superior individual. He told me to compete, relax, following the flow."

Kai will face some of most prominent players in women's golf at the Annika, including world number two the champion, British Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

Tournament organizers mentioned that her participation helps introduce golf to new audiences, especially reaching younger fans.

The social media influencer has millions of followers and recently launched an exclusive fashion and living label.

She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
